Accounting and tax advisor Joe Claytor, from Claytor Financial Services in Berea, will speak about the federal and state tax changes taking place this year for businesses as well as individuals. This will include an overview of the changes to the federal and state tax rules along with a discussion on Kentucky sales tax changes. Stay ahead of the curve and attend this free training.
This three-day workshop will bring together creative and business professionals to collaborate, plan, and challenge conventional ideas of business, art, money, and community. Skilled facilitators will lead small groups to design and plan a community based project or event to be implemented within the next year. This program normally cost $175, but thanks to scholarships made available from the Mountain Association for Community Economic Development (MACED), participants can register for $25. MACED provides funding for the AIR:Shift program because it believes in empowering communities to develop a just, sustainable, and prosperous economic future. MACED believes that small business owners and entrepreneurs are the foundation of our economy, and provides financial support, training, and encouragement to help entrepreneurs turn dreams into reality.
